Westmount initially purchased the property, located at 2408 Forest Oaks Lane, in 2016 and over the course of nine years made extensive updates to the apartment community, successfully repositioning the property.
Forest Oaks was built in 1980, spans 7.4 acres consisting of 164 units. It is strategically located in the north Arlington submarket, providing convenient access to major employment hubs, retail and entertainment centers. The property is situated near State Highway 360 and Interstate 30 with the high-end, Viridian neighborhood and community to the north and Arlington Entertainment District to the south, consisting of Six Flags Over Texas, Texas Live!, AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field. Forest Oaks features residential amenities like a swimming pool and sundeck with two propane grills, a playground, pet stations, a fitness area and a laundry room. Westmount also completed interior unit upgrades including lighting and plumbing fixtures, cabinetry, countertops, appliances, brushed nickel accents and faux wood flooring.
