Riverside Commons

A newly renovated, six-building office complex, Riverside Commons is situated on a 13-acre campus with limestone facades within the Las Colinas Urban Center. Its location at the southeast corner of Highway 114 and Riverside Drive is adjacent to Lake Carolyn in a park-like setting. Las Colinas is a part of Irving, TX, a northwest suburb located between Dallas and Fort Worth. Its central location places it minutes from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

Westmount purchased the office campus in 2006. Buildings range from three to four stories tall, totaling 460,297 rentable square feet. The buildings surround a two-level parking garage with visitor parking around front areas of the buildings. Extensive renovations, which total $5.7 million, include new lobbies and “country club” restrooms throughout the property along with the addition of a comprehensive on-site amenity center with a deli, complete fitness center and a conference facility.

At the time of acquisition, major tenants were Sprint Communications and Research in Motion/ Blackberry. In 2009, after renovations were completed, Research in Motion/ Blackberry purchased the entire campus.
