Westmount acquired this portfolio of 13 buildings in 2014. The portfolio is strategically located between I-35 and MoPac Expressway near The Domain, Austin’s highly successful mixed-use project in the preferred North Central submarket. The buildings were constructed in the mid-1980s, primarily as a series of dock-high, light industrial buildings with low office finish out. Westmount redeveloped the buildings as an office/ flex park with a high degree of office finish-out, now totaling more than 90 percent. The portfolio is now, effectively, a single-story value-office campus.

Westmount has plans to reposition the office/flex portfolio into an attractive and updated office park, with planned improvements totaling $1.5 million for an architectural facelift. We rebranded the property as The Offices at Braker Center as a full-service office property with an onsite manager.

We sold this property in September 2016.
