Sunstate Commerce

Westmount acquired the Sunstate Commerce park along with the Pioneer Industrial, Sunstate Industrial, and Sunstate Center business parks in 2013. Together, the four business parks total just over 332,000 square feet and include a mix of 14 showroom, flex industrial, and distribution warehouses.

The Pioneer Industrial Park was constructed in 1984 and is comprised of two showroom and flex industrial buildings. These infill industrial buildings are strategically located in the Westside/Airport submarket of Tampa, providing excellent access to the entire Tampa region via Veterans Expressway, Interstate 275 and the Tampa International Airport.

Westmount renewed the buildings with fresh exteriors, new signage and graphics, enhanced landscaping, make-ready vacant suites and other improvements to bring the properties back to prime leasing condition. Following the renovations, Westmount rebranded the buildings as Sunstate/Pioneer. The four business parks were sold together in late 2017 at 94% occupancy.
