Miami investor buys 1.13M-SF cold storage facility in Garland

Miami-based Scout Capital Partners has acquired the 1.13 million-square-foot Dallas Food Center, a three-building cold storage facility in Garland, according to Dallas County deed records.

Located at 2600 McCree Road, the Dallas Food Center includes a 934,270-square-foot multi-tenant building, a fully leased 150,074-square-foot building and a fully leased 41,208-square-foot building. The buildings were built between 1953 and 1970 with several renovations throughout the years. The 61-acre development was originally built as a Safeway (Tom Thumb) distribution center.
