Dallas’ Westmount Realty owned a just-sold Grand Prairie warehouse for 33 years

A California investor grabs two more Dallas-area apartment communities to add to its holdings.

Leon Capital Group purchased a 301,399-square-foot warehouse and manufacturing facility building at 602 Fountain Parkway in Grand Prairie. The Great Southwest Industrial Park industrial building had been owned by Dallas’ Westmount Realty Capital since 1988. This property was one of the company’s first investments. “Due to demand in the Great Southwest submarket, the current cap rate compression and the low number of comparable buildings for sale, we determined it was the optimal time to sell,” Westmount’s Julie Butticarlo said. Reed Parker and Adam Graham of DFW Lee & Associates handled the sale transaction.
