Chicago Business Journal – Westmount Realty Capital buys Chicago Industrial Portfolio

Westmount Realty Capital LLC bought a nine-building industrial portfolio in the Chicago market last month as it seeks to expand in the Midwest.

Financial terms of the sale were not disclosed.

Dallas, Texas-based Westmount closed a sale Jan. 24 for the 391,000-square foot Chicago Shallow-Bay portfolio, which consists of 37 tenants. Unilev Capital and Mandalay Industrial were the sellers of the 91%-occupied portfolio in the I-55 Corridor in North DuPage County

“This was a strategic portfolio acquisition in the tier-one industrial market with infill locations,” said Brian Scruggs, managing director of industrial acquisitions for Westmount. “[We] will continue to seek out additional industrial acquisitions in the Chicagoland market in 2025.”
