ORLANDO – May 25, 2022 – Westmount Realty Capital, LLC is pleased to announce the promotion of Nick Sands to managing director of acquisitions in the Southeast. Sands joined Westmount in March 2020 as director of industrial acquisitions and was promoted to senior director of industrial acquisitions in 2021. During his two years with the company, he has demonstrated exceptional performance in sourcing commercial acquisition opportunities and reestablishing Westmount’s commercial footprint in the Southeast.

During his time at Westmount, Sands helped secure six acquisitions between April 2021 and April 2022. The first deal was Interstate Business Park, a seven-building, 122,000-square-foot suburban office/flex property in Tampa, followed by Deer Park, a 246,818-square-foot warehouse in the Jacksonville area.
Sands has also led acquisitions of four properties in the Atlanta area that range from industrial, office and flex properties totaling 992,000 square feet.

Sands has nearly 20 years of experience in asset management and commercial real estate investment in Florida, a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). He holds a master’s degree in real estate from Georgetown University and received a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. He was also a long-time board member and volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida.
