An independent home furnishings retailer, with two new deals in tow, will re-flag the store to Broyhill Home Collection and hold a 14-year power center location with a new 10-year lease.
Home Furnishings’ store owner and Dallas-based Westmount Realty Capital LLC ripped up their 20,025-sf lease about a year early to replace it with the Broyhill pact, delivering the chain’s first Home Collection store in Texas to Richland Centre, Scott Rose with the Weitzman Group in Dallas tells GlobeSt.com. The 95%-leased, 231,000-sf power center at 8641 Airport Freeway in North Richland Hills is periphery big-box retail for North East Mall.
A Sept. 2 ribbon-cutting is planned for Broyhill’s Richland Centre store, with a grand opening two days later. David Hale with Julius Feinblum Real Estate of New York City represented Broyhill.
The power center, with 26,584-sf vacant, is leased by Rose and Weitzman’s Theo Thompson and managed by the firm’s affiliate, Cencor Realty Services. Rents average $14 per sf to $15 per sf.
