Logistics Pointe Charlotte

Westmount Realty Capital purchased this 1.1 million square foot industrial/distribution complex in June 2006. Formerly Winn-Dixie’s regional distribution center, the property had been vacant since February 2005 when Winn-Dixie filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Westmount converted the facility from a single-tenant property and remarketed and re-branded it for multi-tenant use.

The 1,093,000-square-foot industrial/distribution complex is located in southwest Charlotte, the largest industrial market in the Carolinas. The facilities date to 1973 and include a freezer building of 209,316 square feet, 191,239 square feet of refrigerated space, a truck maintenance facility, a 30,000 square foot office building, and approximately 650,000 square feet of rail-served dry warehouse/distribution space.

The facility accompanies 66.3 acres of land within close proximity to major traffic arteries with I-77, I-485, I-85 and the Charlotte/Douglas International Airport nearby. Westmount sold this property in 2015 after restoring occupancy to a healthy level.
